What happens during 3D CT Scanning?

The CT scan takes just a few minutes. A staff member places a lead apron over your body to protect against radiation. You then stand in the middle of a circular machine and either bite on a small bite guard or rest your chin. The machine circles your head while it takes the image. The image is available for immediate review so treatment planning can begin.
