My First Visit
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and state-of-the-art dental care. We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist; you are not alone, and our practice puts forth an extra effort to make sure that you are comfortable and happy every time. Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your happiness, and your dental health.
Your first visit with Dr. Eric Wagar includes:
- A review of your complete dental and medical history forms
- Complete X-rays of your teeth and mouth
- An oral exam – cleaning and polishing your teeth, checking that your teeth and gums are healthy, and checking for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay
After reviewing your health history and completing your dental exam, the practice provides a dental consultation and information about any additional treatments you or your child may need. Dr. Wagar answers any questions you may have.

What to bring to your first appointment:
Completed Forms
Please have your medical and dental history forms filled out so we can speed up your check-in process.
Your Insurance Card
If you have commercial insurance coverage, please bring your primary physical card or digital benefit details.
Regular Checkups
The American Dental Association recommends visiting the dentist at least once every six months for regular dental cleanings and comprehensive examinations to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Appointments typically last from 20 to 40 minutes.
Financing & Insurance
The cost of your treatment may vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. Dr. Wagar and his staff discuss the cost of your treatment and available payment plan options.
Affordable Payment Plans
The practice accepts most major credit cards, CareCredit, and insurance plans. Office staff are available to help with insurance claims and paperwork and will work with your insurance provider.
